Is credit card (statement) or proof of finances needed?
Yes! The Initial required document is a credit card (latest 2 months statement)
If I do not have credit card, can I still rent?
Yes! Alternatively, you may present your payslip, income tax return (ITR), utility bills and other documents similar but not limited to such. That shows your financial capacity and area of residence
If you still don’t have such document, you’re probably a much higher credit risk and should not be trusted with a vehicle and be deny for self driven rentals. But you can still avail our chauffeur services.
Do I need to show IDs?
Yes! Again We at Car Rent Manila require clients to present a valid proof of identification.(Upon delivery for rent a car manila self drive and before the trip start for with driver rent) which will be email to us prior to delivery. Non-Philippine residents are required to present a valid driver’s license and a passport from their home country.
If the information on your driver’s license is not written in the Roman alphabet, you must also present an International Driving Permit.
If you have indicated on your reservation that you are a non-Philippine resident. You must also present proof of your return trip back to your resident country. And or your confirmed reservation rate will change.
